First United Methodist Preschool is a Christian-based preschool program. Our goal is to produce happy, intelligent and well-adjusted children. Here you will find a nurturing educational environment for children of ages 3 years to 4 years.

We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities. Our teachers and administrator are experienced and educated in early childhood. They are committed to working within each child's comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional physical, spiritual and educational results.

Philosophy Statement

The philosophy of our preschool is to have children learn by experiencing the world around them. We approach learning through a theme-based curriculum created by our experienced teachers. Our program focuses on developing each child’s self-help, social, language, large motor and small motor skills. These skills are developed through exploration of centers, circle time, art activities, outdoor play and group play.
